FALL BULKY TRASH PICK-UP
WEEK OF NOVEMBER 6-10, 2006
ON YOUR REGULAR TRASH DAY
This is the week to put curbside all of your bulky items not usually picked-up by our trash hauler.
EACH
ITEM MUST HAVE A TOWN OF EXETER DISPOSAL STICKER CLEARLY DISPLAYED ON
EACH ITEM. Items in a Town of Exeter blue bag do NOT need a disposal
sticker.

DISPOSAL STICKERS AVAILABLE AT THE TOWN OFFICE
MONDAY - FRIDAY 8:00AM – 4:30PM
AND AT PUBLIC WORKS ON NEWFIELDS ROAD MON - FRI 7:00AM – 3:30PM
White goods will no longer be picked-up as part of bulky trash week.

& DPW WILL BE CLOSED ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2006 FOR THE VETERAN’S
DAY HOLIDAY, SO PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY FOR STICKERS.
The following rules apply:
All items must be curbside by 7:00AM on your regular trash day.
All items not in a blue bag need to have a Town disposal sticker
clearly displayed on the item. We recommend that you attach the
stickers on the morning of your pick-up, shortly before 7:00AM.
Items that will be picked up include but not limited to: Furniture,
tables, chairs, mattresses, box springs, sofas, recliners, bureaus,
televisions, fax machines, gas grills (no propane tank) etc.
Carpet must be rolled and tied with a sticker, and each bundle not to exceed 50 lbs.
Lumber must be cut and tied into bundles not to exceed 4 feet in length
and not to exceed 50 lbs. per bundle, each bundle must have a sticker.
Items must be of a size that can be handled by two workers.
The following items will NOT be picked up:
NO yard waste, leaves, grass, brush, hazardous waste, flammables, tires, oil paints or stains.
NO appliances containing freon such as refrigerators, air conditioners,
humidifiers and dehumidifiers. These items can be taken to the Transfer
Station with a valid vehicle permit and a $7.00 disposal sticker for
each item.
NO white goods (washers, dryers, dishwashers etc) will
be picked up. These items can be taken to the Transfer Station with a
valid vehicle permit.
NO antifreeze, car batteries, computer parts, computer monitors.
NO fluorescent light bulbs, hypodermic needles, gas tanks, propane tanks.
NO oil (oil can be taken to the Transfer Station, no vehicle permit required).
NO 55 gallon drums, copiers or smoke detectors.
NO lawnmowers/snowblowers (lawnmowers/snowblowers can be taken to the Transfer Station with a valid vehicle permit).
NO items in cardboard boxes.
