Neighbor Helping Neighbor  Neighbor Helping Neighbor Minimize

Not too many years ago, when someone needed help he or she simply asked a neighbor. When towns were smaller and closer knit, word went around quickly and usually people pitched in -- with a needed answer, a special skill or maybe just an afternoon of labor.

Today, hectic lifestyles and diminishing time spent together in community activities can interfere with that kind of neighborly assistance. But we believe there are still plenty of people in our communiy who would be happy to help their neighbors if only they're asked. And we know for sure there are still plenty of people who can use some help from a neighbor once in awhile, whether the neighbor is found over the back fence or on the other side of town.

That's where this page comes in. Do you have a question or an issue you need some advice about? Or perhaps a need for special assistance with a project, an idea or even some donated labor for a good cause? Now you can ask for help here.

Requests for assistance and any replies will be posted here for all to see. Of course, we're acting just as the messenger so you'll need to be sure the help you receive is trustworthy. (We'll look over the dicussions to assure that this forum is being used appropriately, of course, but just like with any neighbor you'll have to assume sole responsibility for use of any assistance you receive.

To ask for assistance of any kind or provide a response, please use the form below. It's secure, easy and quick to use. And thanks in advance for participating in the Eye on Exeter "Neighbor Helping Neighbor" program.
